 2016 Choreographers

We have hand picked some of the the best choreographers from the east coast for this epic event!

Jocelynn is a loving, energetic, humbled, free-spirited woman. She has been dancing for 21 years and choreographing for 10 years, and does not plan to stop anytime soon. Jocelynn pulls inspirations from a lot of different forms, but the main one is just hearing from God. She had the opportunity to choreograph, for the So You Think You Can Dance National Dance Day and the same year, accepted the position a dance teacher at her alma mater, Clinton Christian. She has choreographed for local artist, Young Motive and performed on BET’s 106 & Park Wild & Out Wednesday competition.  Lastly, in 2010, she started teaching Jocelynn currently teaches at Dancing for His Glory and is the team lead for Victory Christian Ministries International dance ministry. Originally from Decatur, GA and raised in Atlanta, Imani T. Williams-Sparks studied dance at Price Performing Arts Center, Alvin Ailey Dance Camp, Carver School of the Arts, ARTSCool Collegiate and Virginia State University. She has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary and Lyrical. Company credits include Price Performing Arts Company and Virginia State University’s Sankofa Dance Theatre. Imani is the President of Virginia State University’s Sankofa Dance Theater and original dancer for Virginia State University’s Trojan Fire Basketball Dance Team. Click here to read Imani's full bio.
Candace Penn a Washington D.C .native, began formal training at the tender age of three. Ms. Penn began her dance training in Washington, DC at the Duke Ellington School of the arts and was introduced to ballet, tap, and modern dance. In 202102 she relocated to Los Angles California where she trained with Debbie Allen, at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles California. While residing in Los Angles Ms. Penn provided choreography for the LA Sparks “Old Skool Krew” Ms. Penn currently serves as the creative dance instructor for Vision Performing Arts Program.  Click here to read Candaces' Full Bio.
